Hello Parker yarn is a new business based in Heathmont Victoria. It was born out of a love of knitting with high quality and locally sourced yarn and fibre.
I started experimenting with colour relationships on yarn and fibre on my coffee table, I now have a small fibre studio in my back yard, that is bursting at the seams with lovely yarn and fibre.
Most of my yarn and fibre is sourced from small mills in the Macedon Ranges, Bacchus Marsh and Nundle in NSW. I also look to the northern hemisphere to find a range of fibre from rare breed sheep, I think it is important to support rare and endangered sheep herds.
Hello Parker yarn is hand dyed to your needs and quantities, with high quality professional dyes that are colour and light fast.
Simply choose your yarn base and the colour way you desire. You can also choose your own colour ways on the custom orders page, contact me for more details.
I photograph my yarns in the best available light , but sometimes colours can appear different to the naked eye.
Each skein is a complete, finished work of art, one of a kind, hand dyed yarn has subtle variations in colour and may vary from skein to skein.
